Meet the Team

The hard working individuals that support every movement of Marine Code

Advika Mishra(Founder)

As a student, I’ve always been fascinated by the underwater world. My passion grew quietly for a long time, until the day I snorkelled in the sea for the very first time- and I knew it was love at first sight. But as my love for these blue heavens continues to grow, so does my awareness and my frustration at the threats they face. I believe we’re all connected to Mother Nature, yet in our rush toward technological advancement, we’ve let that connection fade. This is only the beginning of my journey to make a difference for our oceans. I hope to share my passion, encourage others to care, and help rebuild the connection between people and the sea.

Roshani Rane(Operations manager)

I am a brain-enthusiast with an increasing interest in the marine and it's conservation. I love to read and search for in depth meanings just like the ocean with it's beauty. I love to read , write and explore. At the marine code I am a researcher and operations manager. With our aim to change this world of water for the greater good I feel ever so delighted! As a nature loving I always hoped to conserve mother Earth and give as much as I can . Being an operations manager at the Marine Code has given me the opportunity to do so. The Marine Code is my first step towards the waters and hopefully not the last.

Sara Saxena(Designer)

I’m a designer at Marine Code, where I get to blend my love for creativity with a passion for meaningful design. With over five years of digital drawing experience and prior design work under my belt, I bring both skill and imagination to every project. From crafting playful, eye-catching stickers to designing products that capture the spirit of the brand, I’m always looking for ways to make visuals both beautiful and memorable. I’ve also shared ideas for our interactive maps, adding creative touches to make them more engaging and user-friendly. For me, design is more than just making things look good — it’s about telling a story, sparking curiosity, and making people smile.

Rhythm Awasthi(Website Developer)

I work as the website developer for The Marine Code, where my role is to design, build, and improve the platform so that it can share important information about our oceans and marine life in a clear and engaging way. For me, web development is more than just writing code—it’s about creating digital spaces where ideas and stories can come alive. Contributing to The Marine Code has given me the opportunity to use my skills to support a meaningful cause while also learning and growing as a developer.
